It works neatly on fishing things out of hot oil or scorching water. The best downside I even have with it is I used to be in a hurry and put it in the dishwasher to clean and now it's a bit of rusty in a pair spots on the mesh. I scrubbed these through hand and rubbed somewhat cooking oil in. Take the time to was onceh with the support of hand.
